My work explores the human figure through drawing, printmaking, and illustration, focusing on the tension between graphic simplicity and physical realism. Many of the images examine the body as both a subject and a visual structure, balancing careful observation with stylized composition. My background spans fine art training, cosmetology, and years working within the beauty industry. That experience shaped my understanding of the body not only as anatomy, but also as something constructed through culture, aesthetics, and presentation. I work primarily in graphite, charcoal, printmaking, and digital illustration. My practice moves between traditional figure drawing and more graphic compositions, exploring how the body can shift between realism, symbolism, and design.
